The DC10 club, after countless complaints from neighbours and after having denied to this newspaper the order to close the outdoor music systems, has announced this Monday that there will be no music in the garden by municipal order. The music systems outside the premises were sealed by the local police of Sant Josep last week.
The establishment has explained in a press release through the networks that «we are unfortunately forced to turn off the music in the garden after the latest requests of the municipality of Sant Josep to reduce the decibles to 75, wich is obviously unaccettable. This is an impossible condition for artists to perform». Since the beginning of the season there have been no end to the complaints from the residents of Sant Jordi and Ses Salines who have had to live with the loud music from the discotheque's music systems.
«We are waiting to understand the real motivations of the authorities behind such unexpected requests. We will update you as soon as possible, and in the meantime we will also carefully monitor how other clubs and establishments and their respective outdoor areas will operate under the circumstances», this was the conclusion of the communiqué from the DC10 discotheque.
