Intake of hallucinogenic substances and two falls or jumps to the void, the last of them with a fatal result. The 35-year-old British tourist who died early on Tuesday after rushing from a second floor had used hallucinogenic substances. It occurred at around 03.20 in Molí Street, in Sant Antoni. The victim died instantly from the impact.
Five years ago, on September 15, 2018, the young man already starred in another shocking event under the effects of hallucinogenic drugs, according to research developed by the Guardia Civil.
On that occasion, the morning of a rainy Saturday in Sant Antoni, the young man rushed from a fourth floor of the Fragata building, on Passeig del Mar. The young man ended up with a leg pierced by the stick of an umbrella leaving a chilling image.
Firefighters, Local Police, Guardia Civil and 061 rescued the boy who was evacuated with the stick inserted in his leg. Five years later the fall from a second plant had fatal consequences. The investigation of the Judicial Police also points to the intake of hallucinogenic substances as the trigger for the event.
According to the OPC of the Guardia Civil, during the eye inspection of the room the agents found various types of narcotic substances. Pending the final results of the autopsy, the first investigations suggest that the man moved by the effects of drugs.
The fatal fall occurred around 03.20 on Tuesday. 112 received notice of the presence of a man lying on Molí street, in Sant Antoni. Several units of the Local Police, Guardia Civil and a 061 ambulance were mobilized to the site. The doctors could only certify the man's death.
The Civil Guard took over the investigation.
