Apparently there are still tourists, many of them regular tourists, who do not know that Ibiza has a stable population like any other area or city in the world.
DJ Bryan Checo, who calls himself 'Checno' on Twitter, published a couple of days ago the photo of a note left by neighbors that said: «You are the most selfish people, waking a two-year-old boy. Nasty, selfish and absolutely no manners or respect. Drugged up. SLAGS», before what seems to be a complaint for not letting them sleep because of annoying noises. To finish off the publication he wanted to justify himself by accompanying the publication of the text: «Who takes a two-year-old to Ibiza?» next to the emoticon of a skull.
And so the controversy broke out. Many netizens did not hesitate to mention the fact that «there are family areas on the island». It is striking that most of the commentators agreed with the author of the publication, which highlights the lack of awareness of many of the island's visitors regarding the rights of other tourists and residents. Even one said: «It's Ibiza. Basically the whole island is a disco». To which @og87 replied: «You've never been to Ibiza if you think that's true».
Other users like @BadassFreeman suggested: You realize that Ibiza is not a theme park, but an island where there are people, right? The fact that tourism is great there does not mean that everyone on the island is tourist. There are (shocking, I know) people who live there, even natives».
The questioned intervention already adds more than 1,200 retweets and almost 42,000 'likes'.
