Storms, rainfall and coastal phenomena will put eight provinces at risk this Thursday, as Valencia will have warnings for rain, which will be repeated in Mallorca, Menorca, Girona, Ibiza and Formentera for waves, to which must be added Cadiz, Cordoba, Huelva, Malaga and Seville for storms, on a day marked by a drop in temperatures, according to the forecast of the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET).
Thus, this day will be marked by intervals of strong wind on the northwest coast of Galicia, Ebro Valley, Ampurdán and Balearic Islands, as well as probability of showers and storms in Andalusia and Valencia thanks to the entry of a DANA that could leave rain in Ibiza and Formentera until next Tuesday.
This Thursday, in the Balearic Islands there will be cloudy intervals with probable rainfall in the rest of the southeast, while in the Canary Islands cloudy intervals are expected in the north of the islands, with the probability of light rainfall, without being ruled out in the eastern islands, and partly cloudy skies in the south. Snow levels will range between 1,500/1,800 metres in the north of the peninsula.
Daytime temperatures will be slightly lower in most of the Peninsula and the Balearic Islands, and night-time temperatures will be lower in the southern third of the Peninsula, with little change in the rest.
Winds will be easterly on the southern half of the Mediterranean coast of the peninsula, with moderate easterly winds in the Strait of Gibraltar. Winds will be northerly in most of the rest of the country, with strong intervals on the northwest coast of Galicia, the Ebro valley, the Ampurdán and the Balearic Islands.
