«September or dry rivers or take bridges», says the Spanish meteorological saying and in this case is more the second than the first. A new rainy day will put Ibiza and Formentera on yellow alert this Thursday between 10 am and 17 hours for accumulated rainfall in an hour of 20 mm that could reach 30 mm, according to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).
For this Friday there will be cloudy or covered sky tending in the afternoon at cloudy intervals. The occasional rainfall that can be strong locally and accompanied by storm, will preferably be in the west of the archipelago. Temperatures with little change or falling between 24ºC and 27ºC. Low to moderate wind east and southeast.
On Saturday there will be cloudy intervals with predominance of medium and high clouds accompanied by dust in suspension with night temperatures in slight decrease and daytime rising to 29ºC. Generally weak north and northeast wind, with weak coastal breezes in Ibiza in the afternoon.
Sunday presents with medium and high cloud intervals without ruling out, in the afternoon or evening, some weak and occasional precipitation accompanied by mud due to the suspended dust. Temperatures rising up to 30ºC and wind variable between weak and moderate tending from the afternoon to southwest.
