The news of the 19-year-old British woman who died on Tuesday after falling from a sixth floor flat in Sant Antoni has reached English soil. The UK media are echoing the event, which is unanimously classified as a "tragedy".
The young woman's name was Emma Ramsey and she was a law student born in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire, Scotland. The Daily Record has contacted several of her former classmates and teachers, who describe her as an "incredibly kind" and "hard-working" girl.
However, English sensationalism is well known. Several newspapers publish photographs and videos of the deceased girl. Her TikTok and Instagram accounts were not private and anyone can enter and take images and publications of the deceased. Among the English media, a set of photographs uploaded to Instagram hours before the death, in front of the sea in Sant Antoni, and a video of her dancing before going out to party in a well-known Ibiza nightclub last Sunday, have become popular.
The Mirror goes one step further and classifies Ramsey's TikTok video as "disturbing". "The law student, who plunged from a hotel balcony while on holiday, had danced in disturbing clips shortly before the tragedy," begins its article, which focuses on the morbid and even the supernatural.
Finally, some media have published the beautiful dedication shared by a friend of the victim: "I don't even know where to begin with how perfect our Emma was. I loved everything about you and always will. Heaven just gained the most beautiful angel it will ever have and I am eternally grateful to call you my friend. I will always cherish the moments we shared together, Em. I love you forever, my girl, you will never be forgotten."
