With a careful selection of local artisans and producers who will showcase the island's typical products, such as ceramics, handmade jewellery, accessories and traditional items, along with products from the Ibizan countryside, where the emphasis will be on local and sustainable consumption.
Live music and ball pagès performances will liven up the nights of Sant Rafel throughout the summer, creating a unique festive and cultural atmosphere. According to Miguel Tur, councillor for the Development of the Local Economy, this market is an opportunity to showcase the island's local produce and Ibiza's wealth of craftsmanship. It is a ‘consolidated’ market.
In this sense, he added, ‘We invite the entire population of the island to come and enjoy the unique atmosphere of this market during the summer months’.
Thanks to the collaboration between the Sant Antoni de Portmany Town Council, the Sant Rafel Neighbourhood Association and the Consell de Ibiza, the Mostra Artesanal de Sant Rafel is a must for residents and visitors alike. This market successfully combines tradition, culture and local produce in an authentic and welcoming setting, and has become one of the most notable summer events on the island.
