Every year, large luxury yachts sail the waters around Ibiza, either to cruise around the island or to stop off on their journey. This time, it is the turn of the sailboat Unfurled, which belongs to businessman and real estate investor Harry Macklowe.
This 46-metre luxury vessel is designed for comfort and can accommodate six guests in three suites and up to seven crew members. Its interior was styled by design house Sterling Scott and it was delivered to its owner in 2016, reports Yacht Charter Fleet. The exterior design of this luxury vessel is the work of German Frers.
Unfurled is currently worth around 23 million euros and can reach a maximum speed of 14 knots. Its water tanks can hold up to 6,946 litres of fresh water.
The owner of the boat is said to own one of the most expensive contemporary art collections in history. According to SuperYachtFan, it is rumoured to be worth $1 billion. In addition, Harry Macklowe's net worth is estimated to be between $600 million and $2 billion, although his divorce filing with his ex-wife, Linda Macklowe, states that his net worth is $23 million. Sources, according to the website, suggest that he offered his wife a settlement of $1 billion.
