The Facebook profile Ibiza Snake Trappers Community has echoed the latest captures of Stop Ibiza Snakes Jos Kleissraps. In this Wednesday afternoon's post, the social network account shared a total of 14 images of snakes that had been captured on a property located in Santa Agnès de Corona.

As they go on to explain, Jos Kleissraps has become a key player in this «cleanup» of snakes in the area, capturing nearly 200 specimens since last March.

They recommend that neighbours living in the southern part of the Sant Antoni de Portmany municipality urge the city council to install fences and special barriers to keep snakes out, if lizards are still present in the area, and to provide owners of large plots with more traps.

The Ibiza Snake Trappers Community states that 'the snakes are moving from Sant Mateu and Santa Gertrudis, and before that they moved from the municipality of Sant Joan', and warns that 'they will continue to move'.

This Facebook community also explains that the snakes are moving away from properties under construction. "It is when the machines are removed that the traps start hunting again".
