Back to the Ibiza of yesteryear. This is the layer of nostalgia that covers the Poetiuses festival, a two-day meeting where poetry is mixed with music in line with the beat generation that founded the Ibiza that art nostalgics yearn for so much. After a first day at the Space Eat&Dance, the second event moved this Sunday to the Sant Joan street market, where during the morning you could enjoy a poetry session by Javier Gallego «Crudo», Annalisa Marí Pegrum and Julia Roig, accompanied by musicians from the island, such as the well-known musician Saigo with Tukdam Project. Later, the event moved to the Ses Arcades restaurant, where a round table will be held where the poets will be able to discuss future synergies and creative alliances with music and poetry as the main protagonists.
It should be noted that the aim of this festival is to encourage poets to return to the island and experience ‘the Ibiza of always’, a place that remains true to itself but will become even more special if poets return.
