On August 14th, Las Dalias will host one of the most eagerly awaited events of the summer: the Ibiza Reggae Festival, now in its fifth year. This year, the festival pays tribute to a key moment in music history: Bob Marley's historic performance on the island in 1978, the first time the king of reggae set foot on Spanish soil.
To commemorate this milestone, the event will feature Ky-Mani Marley, son of the legend, who will headline the lineup with his powerful musical offering. Ky-Mani Marley, one of the most prominent figures in contemporary reggae, has fused the style with hip-hop, blues, and rock.
Since his beginnings in the 90s, Ky-Mani Marley has kept his father's essence alive with a fresh and renewed touch that connects with new generations. His performance in Ibiza is expected to be one of the most important performances of the season.
This year's lineup will also feature British artist General Levy, one of the most iconic voices of jungle and reggae in the United Kingdom. Known for his unique style and powerful stage presence, Levy will be accompanied by Wisdom Sound, who will set the rhythm and the Akasha. Organized by Las Dalias and Ibiza Reggae Yard, the festival has established itself as an essential event for lovers of music and culture, continuing to grow year after year.
