Sa Pedrera de Sant Antoni became this year the epicentre of Ibizan fashion with the celebration of Pasarela Adlib Ibiza 2025. Set amidst nature and living stone, this iconic venue played host to a new instalment of the island's premier fashion showcase, once again uniting renowned designers under the banner of craftsmanship, authenticity, and creative liberty. The gala was hosted by model and presenter Nieves Álvarez, who emphasised the importance of this significant showcase of artisan and sustainable fashion, now in its 53rd year. Álvarez also revealed her playful side when she asked the Mayor of Sant Antoni, Marcos Serra, in a friendly manner, to help her pronounce the place name Portmany correctly. She also expressed his admiration for designer Tony Bonet, who drew inspiration from two seemingly incompatible artists: Lola Flores and Marilyn Manson.
And all this before we present the twelve firms that paraded on Saturday with their proposals. The collections ranged from the reinvention of Ibizan tradition to avant-garde designs exploring the contemporary identity of the Adlib woman and man. Each collection showed a commitment to the essence of Ibiza and sustainability, without renouncing innovation and creativity.
Collections
The fashion show was opened by designer Monika Maxim Ibiza, who opened the catwalk with a collection that recovers the purest Adlib style. Using fabrics such as cotonet and traditional elements such as crochet, lace and ruffles, her designs flow with the body and evoke the soul of the island, keeping white as the central theme. Next was Elisa Pomar Ibiza, heiress to a jewellery dynasty, who presented the Crisálida collection — jewellery symbolising personal transformation. The highly poetic pieces fuse traditional techniques with contemporary touches and references to her personal experiences and travels. Meanwhile, Ibimoda reaffirmed its position as a bridal fashion benchmark with Jacaranda, a collection reinterpreting guipure with light, feminine silhouettes that combine traditional craftsmanship with a fresh vision of the modern bride.
Ibiza Stones, the brand created by Catalina Kim, has shown Saint-Sinner, a provocative proposal that combines leather and lace, black and white, structure and transparency. The collection reflects the duality of the pure and the wild with an urban and rock style. The designer was followed by Dolors Miró Ibiza, who brought handcrafted elegance with her collection of Nits de Lluna bags, inspired by the island's full moon nights. The pieces stand out for their elaboration with lace, feathers, pearls and unique details that enrich any style.
Espardenyes Torres has presented The Four Elements, a footwear collection inspired by nature: earth, sea, air and fire. The colours and shapes evoke Ibizan landscapes, offering a modern take on traditional footwear. S72 Hat, a company specialising in headdresses and hats founded by Sandra Riera, presented Etérea, a line made from natural fibres, lace and dried flowers, which conveys delicate Mediterranean sophistication inspired by the island. Estrivancus, by María Morcillo, presented the Beach Club collection, developed in collaboration with the artist Covaloba Ibiza. The espardenyes, in natural tones of black and ochre, were combined with hand-printed garments created using silk-screen printing to highlight the brand's visual identity. Ivanna Mestres presented one of the most poetic collections, Ninfas Brujas, which explores feminine duality through lace, transparencies, leather, and accessories that evoke the softness of nymphs and the strength of witches.
With Andalusian roots but an Ibizan soul, Virginia Vald has presented Oasis, a desert-inspired collection combining silks, guipure and embroidery with corsetry and asymmetrical cuts. The result is a powerful, sensual and resilient woman. Vintage Ibiza, which celebrated its tenth anniversary on the catwalk, dazzled with Brisa de Estilo, a line made from natural fibres. The designs convey freedom, movement and elegance and are aimed at a self-assured woman. Tony Bonet, one of the most renowned names on the Adlib scene, closed the show with Morir de Glamour, a collection blending traditional craftsmanship with a rebellious aesthetic inspired by his musical icons, Marilyn Manson and Lola Flores. White, volume and lace breathe life into a proposal that champions reuse and individuality.
It is worth remembering that this fashion label, under the auspices of the Consell d'Eivissa, has been a standard bearer of craftsmanship, sustainability and a reflection of a way of life for more than half a century. This Saturday's Adlib Ibiza catwalk show was undoubtedly one of the most special editions yet, taking place in one of the island's most iconic spaces, Sa Pedrera in Sant Antoni.
