The autopsy on the body of the woman found dead on a farm in Mallorca ruled out signs of violence. Pending the results of toxicology tests, it is considered that the death occurred without the intervention of third parties, and the man arrested on Monday has been released without charge.
On Monday, the body of a woman was found on a farm on a road between the municipalities of Palma and Algaida. After the discovery, a man was arrested, and the police were trying to determine whether the two were a couple.
The Homicide Group of the National Police initiated an investigation following the discovery, opening several lines of inquiry and not ruling out any hypotheses. The initial steps taken by the officers revealed no signs of violence. Once the police investigation had been completed and while awaiting the results of the toxicology report, it was deemed that the death had occurred without the involvement of third parties and that there was no criminal intent. Therefore, homicide was ruled out 'pending the toxicology report'.
On Monday, a patrol of the National Police arrested a man linked to the woman due to a series of indications. However, on Tuesday, having completed all the necessary steps, the investigators took a statement from the detainee, who was then released without charge.
