Heavy rainfall over the last two days has caused water to flow through Ibiza’s riverbeds and the Santa Eulàlia River once again, albeit torrentially.
In fact, on Sunday morning, a vehicle could be seen floating down the Santa Eulàlia river towards the sea.
Following the passage of Storm Alice, many people gathered at the Pont Vell bridge in Santa Eulàlia to watch the river ‘run’. This is an unusual sight in recent decades as the riverbed only fills up due to heavy rainfall, like that which has battered Ibiza for the last two weeks.
